Great match to watch! Seria A has been the most entertaining league to watch this season IMO. But I could be biased because the Seria A is 90% why I started uploading videos

Amazing how Spezia back opened up in the occasion of Verona's second goal. Until a decade ago Italian teams, even small ones, were masters of defending. Not anymore. Testament to the tactical and technical decadence of Serie A. From the best in the world, it has become a second rate league for quasi retirees.

@@UrWrldThruMyEyes I wouldn't call it fast paced. It is not physical, not fast paced, to the point that former champions and has-beens can still make a difference: Ibrahimovic, Ribery, Quagliarella, Dzeko, Pedro... In serie A you won't see much of the ferocious gegenpressing that now characterises the EPL and Bundesliga. The only exceptions are Atalanta and partly Milan, who are both performing well above the standard of their players. And you won't see the technical attacking football of many La Liga teams. As far as I can remember, no football great at the top of their career played in Serie A in the last 10-15 years. No Italian team won the CL since 2010, no Italian team ever won the EL since its rebranding in 1999. There are only 2 Italian teams in the top 20 of the UEFA ranking, the best being 8th placed Juventus.

@@marcocastellani8348 I disagree with you to an extent. Yes, there are veterans that stand out, but in general, Serie A teams are playing faster now and they more technical than you give them credit for. Let's see in the next couple of years if there are improvements in Europe but I still enjoy watching the league for what it is. I reckon it was less enjoyable from 2006 to 2016 TBH.

@@vitocdoria I might be wrong, but I can't see an Italian team with a realistic chance of winning any silverware in Europe in the next couple of years. But I agree with you the level of football has slightly improved in the last few years. Although I am not sure this is because of better attacking football, or a combination of poor defending and poor refereeing (by far the league with the highest number of penalties per match).
