That’s on De Rossi. He sold a number of Italy based players and signs a bunch of foreign one when Roma is still financial trouble and try to unrealistically merge them together in a team. That’s the behaviour of an inexperienced coach and this could actually drag Roma into big troubles.

@@807800 it’s funny how much of a villain Mou is. Everyone thinks they got it and don’t need him around. Man U after spending 0.5 billion by the last manager is on 14th place. Mou was second, cup win and Europa League won. Spurs are worse as well it’s just the new guy is like able and that is pretty much it. Look at Roma now. Conference League won, Europa League final and CL place. What did they expect with De Rossi? He took over a team prepared by Mou and it was only a common sense that his actual first season would have started this when this season began and since he needed to prepare them in the summer then look absolutely hopeless. That team had poor pre-season and nothing can happen till at least the winter break now. They are absolutely done for this year at least. Same for Spurs firing him before the cup final to start Conte project. Where are they now ?

@@aldobonaso3481 De Rossi is a victim like Pirlo at Juve or Seedorf at Milan. However, he is totally not prepared and killed this season organizing a terrible pre-season as he doesn't know what he is doing. He wasted the whole season by that. They look tired and not motivated. This can only be fixed next summer. You see what Flick did taking over from Xavi? Lewandowski said that training and pre-seasons under Xavi were weak. He was working out individually just to be in any shape. Gym was only open on schedule. If they wanted to work out more they need to do in own houses. Roma looks like they had a terrible pre-season and it wasn't like that when Mou was in charge.

@@JS-bh3pz you make valid points, absolutely true. But while Mouh got the conditioning and prep right (like he always does), the team were playing horribly and not getting results. The start of this season was horrible for De Rossi, but you could see a big change in the team on the pitch when he took over from Mouh mid season last year. Not saying De Rossi is a fantastic coach, but you need to marry many aspects of coaching, prep, conditioning, tactical, and results, or you won't succeed. Neither Mouh, not De Rossi got it all right. But I also agree, De Rossi is very much in the same boat as Pirlo and Seedorf, who were all thrown in the deep end and weren't given enough time to try finetune their approaches, forced to learn on the fly...the chances of them succeeding were always very low.

@@aidygooner Yeah after Jose left Roma hired an updated coach and you can see he was gone after 4 games after spending a lot in the summer. If you think other coaches than Jose would have gotten them to two finals then clearly my brother you know nothing about football. If it weren't for the referee Roma would have won against Sevilla too. Just enjoy this show now as this will last for a long Roma might not win or be in a final for decades
