We used to take for granted, winning the Serie A title, but ever since the turn of the century what seemed to be easy became nearly insurmountable. I give my thanks that we finally broke the deadlock after a long wait, I count my blessings that I am still around to witness this milestone as we win the league title again. After the departure of Ibra and Silva to PSG, Milan went lower and lower over the years until it hit rock bottom and the great Silvio sold the club to the Chinese. The transfers came...one by one, and everyone started to think about Milan's rebirth. But it was all just dust in the eyes. The Chinese couldn't pay off the debts and the club was taken over by Elliott... It seemed to be the end... Milan could have been sold off piece by piece... BUT! Elliott took on the project and made significant progress (not without mistakes) in such a short time and was able to put the club in order. Most importantly, the finances. Milan is no longer drowning in debt and has a bright future. Now we can say with confidence that Milan has risen from the ashes like the Phoenix bird!
