Whoever watched this game will know,this game was won in midfield...Tonali was a beast,pure class, combination of Gattuso and Pirlo really stood out. Outstanding performance from the whole team.

For me the game was won in the area between the left back and the left winger. Interesting stat - 76 percent of the match was played in the area just in front of the Napoli left back. By all accounts, it was a ludicrous display.

Whenever he plays against Milan, he doesn't play well because of the defense. Osimhen isn't the issue. The defense was reshaped from 3 at the back to their normal 4 and he can never go pass kjaer easily. Although osimhen is a beast but whenever he meet milan, even Kalulu that's young has always pocketed him

There's a psychological boost that comes with looking at your opponents and not seeing their danger man. It becomes, "We've got this!" for one team and "We can pull through it" for the other, even before the first whistle is blown. I'm sure Osimhen not being in the lineup had some psychological effect. That's not counting his scrappy, defensive contribution and on field encouragement of his teammates. I hope he plays next time and brings that balance Napoli needs.

This was such a clinic, definetly the best Milan performance this season. Took away the invincible aura from Napoli right before the Champions League fixtures.

If you want to beat Napoli, you will have to play more then 3 defenders at the back as you are only playing 3. You can’t rely on tomori to back you guys up when you concede..

true, but I still think that the CL faceoffs will be a different animal, with or without Osimhen on the pitch. It's the magic of the competition that motivates teams to overdeliver even when they're not at their best. We've seen it countless of times before...

The moment I saw Milan Team ,I knew they were going to win. The players that played today were undoubtedly key to Milan's last season Serie A success. Not much injury concern.

No, Napoli did not play seriously because they will play in Champions League next week and they don't want to reveal their real tactics to ACM. They treat this game like a friendly. I think this result is just to make ACM overconfident psychologically because the league is already confirmed. The real Napoli will beat them in the Champions League QF

Rafael Leao looks slow, but that guy moves fast! In fact, his knee slide says it all. U'd think he ain't generated enough momentum but once he hits the grass, he surprisingly covers a great distance with the slide 😀

Not discounting the efforts of other players, but it "seems" it's all crumbling down without Osimhen. Hopefully, he comes back soon and Napoli can continue their fantastic run and story.

They did very well without him in 7 game spell, with a higher average goals scored. Dunno what happened here but defence looked all at sea 🤷
