The more Juventus games I’ve watched this year, the more I realize Cristiano needed Real Madrid as much as they needed him. They complimented each other perfectly. Real Madrid create so many chances every game but have no one to finish. Juve on the other hand are too slow, defensive, scrappy. They score a goal then try to defend the rest of the game. They are a very boring team to watch. In the past TWO games alone, Cristiano hasn’t even had ONE chance to score a goal. Not a cross. Not a pass. Not a through ball. Nothing. Think about that. Unfortunately, nobody won in this divorce.

I completely agree. The problem here is the manager, Allegri, with his defensive gameplay and tactics which do not suit Ronaldo. Fortunately next season Zidane will probably come to Juve and it will be a totally different game!

And this is very strange for me, because I'm usually very optimistic and even happy when they didn't play superbly. But what I've been seeing THIS year .... was incredibly awful and not the Juve I've been watching for more than 15 years.

@@dawid12301d you are correct to some extent but lets say a long free kick is awarded to juventus ( in the left wing because Dybala must take the right wing's freekick) and then you hav option that either Ronaldo will take or say Pjanic .. . Here Pjanic has skills for topspin and traditional swing which are less powerful than Ronaldo's Knuckleball... . It is easier to judge and stop topspin and traditional swing from a far distance . And hence knuckleball (Cr7) must be man of that freekick

Even Mario Rui is a better option. It looks empty because the fans are not allowed to sit in the bottom stand in a lot of the stadium. The stadium is old so they have to sit on the higher tiers in a lot of areas

Stats don’t show which teams play more defensively. If you think La Liga is more defensive then you probably don’t keep up with Serie A. I watch both and Serie A is harder regardless of how many goals they score.

@real madrid Their first two goals were deflections in that game, Ronaldo scored a deflected goal and then Mandzukic equalized with what was arguably the greatest goal in a UCL final ever (until Bales goal a year after) and then Casemiro hit a massively deflected shot and it went centimeter perfect into the net... there was just no stopping Real that day as they were far too lucky... Real Madrid is one of the best teams in the world anyways but when they also get lucky, its game over.

I like Ronaldo, but that probably wasn't a penalty. From the angles given in these highlights at 1:09 he pulls his right leg up to make it look like contact has been made. But considering how unnatural the fall following is, the keeper probably didn't make contact. Not a pen.

That was a clear dive by Ronaldo. He deserved the red card for simulation. Napoli goalkeeper never touched him. Surprised VAR wasn't used

Can't believe they give a penalty on that "hand Ball" by Alex Sandro. It was more chest than arm, and he didn't even saw the ball. The ball was not going for goal, outrageous.

To był mecz Pana Zielińskiego, mógł sobie przypomnieć jak całe boisko sam przechodził, mógł zrobić to na co go stać, mógł pomimo przewagi przeciwnika samemu wygrać mecz. No, ale wybrał to co jest mu wygodne i nikt pretensji mieć nie może. Kolejny dobry mecz po prostu. I kolejny mecz który wygląda jakby Pan Zieliński grał tylko aby wykonać swój zawód, od gwiazdka do gwiazdka, koniec pracy do domu. Kolejny mecz w którym strzały są na bramkę, a nie po to żeby wygrać, pokazać światu kim się jest. Albo jest Pan Zieliński tylko pracownikiem i nim chce być, albo coś z poziomem testosteronu coś nie tak.
