I still feel heartbroken how Napoli didn't win the league last season when they deserved it. Serie A would be the best league if the Milan teams can reach the level of Juve who are simply unstoppable and going through their best period in their history.

If you watched Juventus matches and their refereeing you'd easily understand why no other team could ever win in Italy of late than Juventus. I mean, it's not a coincidence that they were the protagonist of the Calciopoli corruption scandal... nothing has changed since.

Milan and Inter will reach Juventus' level, but it takes time, maybe 2-3 more years or even more. And Inter will do it faster than Milan, but Milan are on the good track.

@@thescientist2479 no mate... the team who wins it isn't always the team who deserve it. Can't blame it on just referees though. Juve were simply VERY efficient last season whilst other teams bottled it against them. Hopefully the Milan teams with the investments will reduce the gap cos I lost faith in Roma years ago.

Kmimad Roma are already going to build one. I was disgusted by Napoli’s stadium. But I had to Google Stadio San Paolo and itll be renovated this season and next summer. Should look much nicer at the start of 2019-2020 campaign.

Anonymous Guy it’s because that bottom area is finally getting a renovation. I was disgusted myself with all those empty seats, I knew something had to give. I Googled Stadio San Paolo and it says it’s getting renovated and it’s going to downsize in capacity from 60,000 to 55,000. It’ll be ready by the start of the 2019-2020 campaign

Stadium is full asshole..just the lower sectors are not occupied..Both Curves,Distinti and Tribune were fully occupied..go to the stadium and after you can talk..don t express any judgment, when you have no clou, no idea of what the hell is going on !

sure they will, but everyone knows how they do. by making referees their friends (see Allegri congratulating Tagliavento ("Taglia", as he called him) for Orsato's refereeing in Inter-Juventus last year, or Rugani's complaint to Calvarese ("Calva", as he called him) for conceding a corner to Empoli before Dybala's dive let Juvenus equalise. Only Juventus supporters are blind to that.

Roma played the way they usually do at San Paolo: as a provincial team, defending and counterattacking, and counting on the absolute lack of danger coming from Napoli's endless corners and destroying Napoli's game. They have won a few times playing like that, mostly playing a very boring football typical of Italy. at least this time it didn't work.

why did roma play defence as soon as they scored a goal. roma demolished their chances of winning by playing defence just for a one-goal-lead. also, it isn't only about napoli's stadium, almost every italian stadiums ( except juventus ) have less crowd than the seats. i feel italian football so pleasant to watch even though i am not an italian. but, what's the matter with the italians? for everyone who is wondering why napoli didn't win the serie a last season, roma is the major reason why napoli didn't win the serie a. when napoli were league leaders and are almost going to win the league and juventus are just behind napoli, roma defeated napoli by scoring 4 goals against the league leaders who are expected to win that match against roma. but, to everyone's surprise roma won the match with ease. that made a huge impact to napoli in both the serie a table and also in their minds.
