Peruzzi was massively underrated. Even to this day, I never understood why Juve gave him up in order to sign Edwin Van Der Sar.

Peruzzi was great GK - unfortunately Azzuri had so many legend GK during his era : Pagliuca , Toldo and then lastly Buffon overshadowed everyone.
