One of my favorite managers - he just oozed class and dignity. I will always remember when Fiorentina gave an honor guard to the rangers after losing on pens in the CL. It was so sad but so inspiring

Grandissimo uomo prima che allenatore, uno fra gli ultimi ad avere valori veri e reali, un immenso dispiacere che la sua carriera sia stata purtroppo segnata e condizionata da una finale europea (raggiunta contro ogni pronostico della vigilia) persa inevitabilmente per 4-0 contro una squadra di marziani all'epoca (non erano esseri umani) e soprattutto dalla delusione del Mondiale in Brasile, ma personalmente non lo ritengo il principale responsabile di quel fallimento, quanto di un sistema-calcio giunto al capolinea, di fatti i 2 Mondiali successivi ne sono stati la riprova palese.
