Wiktor that was a hand ball (arm)and what made it for sure was him moving his arm towards the ball instead of keeping his arms to his body .... if the arm was tucked to his body in any way there would not be a PK

If there is a soccer field nearby, we usually go out there and play different soccer games. Shooting free kicks is usually one of them. Also, youth soccer clubs make long-distance shooters practice with a lot of free and corner kicks. By the time they become pro, they are already great shooters. That's my humble opinion

Call it a robbery or what you wantt. Inter cannot rely on the ref to make the correct call in order to secure a result. We must close out these games and not give our opponents a chance or hope. Also, Lautaro suffers much like Mauro with no service!!

from the replay, it was very difficult to see but he looked ON. but it was an extremely close call. could have been contested by VAR but judging from Inter's reactions, it doesnt look like an offisde either. The penalty was a bad call tho

Italy have great talent. Chiesa, Politano, Berrardi as winger. Zaniolo as #10 playmaker. The problem is just center back. Rugani is substitute player behind 35years old Chielini and 32 year old Bonucci. Caldara has not played since his arrival at AC Milan.

i agree with all of you, but also try to analyze deeple the ref. decision, he decide penalty instantly because the move was like the defender try to block the ball with the arm and the move after the chest touch it was a reflex back hand, the REF. take the decision after he saw the back review, becaus the front reviw clearly touch teh chest and then slides softly into the bizeps, you have to take in count that the initial decision conditioned the REF with him self and he had to suport his own final detrmination.

And post match review with the referee association, they decided to strip off his duty until international break, and will not leading any inter matches until the end of the season. Good decisions after worst referee performance.

That last minute penalty was one of those call that could've went either way.. His gesture to ball was why the referee called it. It he didn't move, it wouldn't have been. I've seen those gone either way before.

@EZEKIEL You have to look at the episod from another view, like it was displayed in translation, when reff saw VAR. D'ambrosio's hand moved to the ball. Ball changed trajectory, it's a penalty.

Yeah, referee need at least 2 minutes to see VAR monitor before decide the penalty. I am sure he was doubt that ball hit the hand, but he already make a decision (giving penalty) from the start, and will get pressure if he changes his mind. Poor performance by referee
