To be fair his goals are testament to the great teamwork of the juventus of his time, and the amazing talent of Del Piero, Nedved, Davids, and the great crosses of Zambrotta and Thuram. But we have to give him that if we look at the skill of finishing in its purest meaning, he's an all time great at that skill

@@art5850 certi gol non li fai se non hai una grande tecnica. Gol da fuori area, gol di testa, gol al volo, semirovesciate. Poi certo, per caratteristiche non era quel giocatore che saltava due avversari e faceva gol...ma rispetto ad un Inzaghi, che era veramente solo fiuto del gol, lo preferisco 100 volte come giocatore!

That was because of Capello's dumb 1990s tactics and also because Ibrahimovic never performed in CL matches. He was arguably Juve's worst player in those losses against Liverpool and Arsenal.

I'm passionately hating juve for decades but Trezegol was truely special. I always preferred him over Henry as 9 in French national team. Henry was winger by his nature and he was often sh**y when he played 9. His heading ability was so poor and he never learned that segment of the game. On the other side, David was heading monster but they always forced Titi in spite of the fact that Trezeguet have better matches/goals and especially minutes/goals ratio in the national squad. In that sense he's better than, not just Henry, but Benzema, Giroud and Griezmann as well. That's why he retired from the national squad at his prime. He just could not stand that injustice. And remeber this: France would never have won the World Cup 1998 and Euro 2000 without this hellishly underrated player.

Un joueur à part, comme on en fait plus: Il apportait peu au jeu, n'avait pas la capacité d'éliminer un défenseur par ces dribles, lent en apprence, pas spectaculaire pour un sous, mais tellement léthal dans la surface : très bon remiseur, très fort au jeu de tête, finisseur incomparable. On l'a un peu trop oublié. Chapeau l'artiste.

I first knew of Trezeguet in 2010 playing for Hercules FC when they were in LA LIGA, he was brilliant, I never knew he had such an impact previously
