If you would have wathced the game you would have known. They changed many players in the add time and the referee said 4 more minutes because they lost much time. He was about to end the match but the VAR called him because of the kick on Beltran. So nothing wrong with that

I had Cagliari or draw to win an accumulator, this referee is a criminal. It’s been a while I’ve seen a referee’s deliberate involvement in the game to this point, adding time until Fiorentina scores which they did through one of the worst penalty decisions in my life. Notice how this waste of oxygen of a referee couldn’t wait to give it either, one sketch at the screen and he’s off. I feel for Ranieri, your last game as a manager, your team show an immense performance and you get that corrupt scoundrel fixing the game to win his bet. If I woke up this morning and read a headline that a referee was put in a coma in Italy post game in the parking lot, I’d actually start supporting Cagliari as a second team, genuinely. The smile that would put on my face, I wouldn’t resist the urge, I’d order a Cagliari shirt!

If you consider that the kick the defender gave to Fiorentina's N*9 Beltran stopped him from getting the ball, it is a penalty. Even if it was not a dangerous or on purpose challenge, a kick from behind that stops an attacker from touching the ball is a penalty. I agree it is controversial, some refs can give it others don't. However it's illogical to say that it was a stolen match, or that the ref needs to be investigated.

5 minutes added on. watch live there’s nothing in extra time that allows the need for more time. game plays an extra 5 minutes. the penalty isn’t the issue, it’s what led up to it.
