However every season in Europe will allow you to get better players as you have a bigger budget & makes you more attractive for international prospects as a destination. Every european season gives your experience and allows talents to make the jump to the top quicker and while they are struggling from a playing level they do get the results btw. To tell a team they aren't fit for Europe in general based on their performances after only their first ever european season since 1999 is complete nonsense. That would be like claiming Borussia Dortmund weren't cut out for Europe after their first Champions League appearance after Klopp where they were eliminated last place in the Groups. And yet they made 2 Champions League finals afterwards.
