Despite being born only a few kilometres away in Vuzenica, Slovenia, Jaka Bijol had never crossed the border with Italy to visit Friuli, and more specifically Udine. Now a staple of Udinese’s defence, the towering centre-back has had plenty of opportunities to discover the beauty of the city, the strong regional identity and the warmth of the people.

I lived about 700km south in Sora. It was nothing like this! Udine is beautiful and peaceful just like I want it. I hold dual citizenship and might think retiring their one day. Thank you Bijol and Seria A for such a wonderful video.

@@luca6849 guarda che a Trieste ci sono venuto ben 4 volte, e ancora ci verrò, avendone occasione, trovandola bellissima. Comunque dal video anche Udine mi sembra meritevole di una visita, suvvia.

@@luca6849 Udine e bellissima, più piccola ma molto più pulita di trieste, anche se a trieste hanno il doppio di personne per capita in carica della pulizia che a Udine. Li si vede chi ama più la sua città

Udine sembra molto bella e caratteristica, un giorno mi piacerebbe visitarla, poi vado pazzo per il prosciutto di san daniele, non è sempre facile trovarlo di qualità qui al sud.

Udine is definitely a cozy and nice city. However, Bijol forgot to show you his favourite parking spot in town. Right on pedestrian crossing in front of Porta Manin. That's where he likes to park his 200k EUR car, and he gets offended if fellow citizens remark that that's arrogant.
