Beware. That back three can be batshit terrible on counter-attacks. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of José Luis, Djimsiti, Toloi and the gang. It's just that they tend to be tricked out of position and have a hard time covering their mistake.

they can very well reach the semifinals, the quarter finals are going to be a 1 legged game that too on a neutral venue, it is almost like a world cup there can be a lot of upsets, So there is a high chance you reach the semi final.

He has his moments. Remember when he scored twice against Brazil? Even the few times that he starts with Atalanta he still scores goals, i think he's at 13 this season. With Colombia it's similar, he's scored 5 goals with the national squad the few times he's played and i he's an amazing player to put on the field when you need someone to put their heart out on the pitch when no on elese does. Plus I've always liked the guy, so I'm definitely biased 😅

Since 18 yrs, 19 yrs ago, I support these teams; Newcastle United(Eng), Atalanta(Ita), Hertha Berlin(Ger), Marseille(Fra). Now Atalanta becomes an incredible team. You can't describe how I was happy. Hope Newcastle and others become giants. :)

I think by now despite his age. Papu Gomez has to mentioned as one of the best attacking midfielders in the game right now. Created most chances across top 5 leagues last season. He is quick for a central player. Free roams the attsck great dribbling ability great passing range and IQ amazing eye for goal. Incredible curker shots.
