That is the meanest description i have ever heard from any commentator. Martin De Roon maybe his form has dropped recently but has always deliver for Atalanta and occasionally score goals. I want to assume the commentator is an intern to make such mistake. An experienced commentator wouldn't have said such

De Roon literally has a goal average of 2 for Atalanta across all competitions for all the seasons he’s played. So yeah, de Roon of all people to be the one that scores the equaliser isn’t what many would predict. He’s not saying he’s a bad player, just that he doesn’t score often.

Duvan Zapata has got to be one of the most underrated strikers in Europe. Surprised not more clubs have gone after him. Atalanta still have Muriel/Ilicic as their striker,/attackers they'd probably be fine with a 25m bid

@@memoo183 25m pounds, sorry. so like 30m euros. He is gonna turn 31 next year, so I mean not many strikers past the age of 30 have gone more than that (Giroud for example left for under 20m pounds despite having a pretty decent record at Arsenal).

Keep in mind that the fizzle last time against ManU happened after Demiral's injury which broke the defensive resistance of Atalanta

@@nenenindonu Atalanta are better off always playing their games. They are not a defensive team. They scored two goals and could have continued playing to their strength as oppose trying to protect it. We atleast saw how Liverpool didn't step off the gas until the 5th goal.. Demiral a wonderful defender by all standard, spending two years in Juventus could equal to Phd in defense, but Atalanta strength is in the offense, he is bought because his defense skill could come in handy. .

Lazio should've done more to keep the lead. Atalanta scored in extra time both sides. Sarri needs another GK and a CB but every other area is improving. Lazio in top4 would be a big achievement this season but Europa League is winnable.

Blud he already has a more than reliable goalie in Strakosha just sitting on the bench. Before Reina came in, he'd been an undisputed starter for 4 years straight and saved Lazio countless times in countless matches. They're just pushing him away like Arsenal did with Emi Martinez

Strakosha is younger, taller and more agile, as you said, he can save games with big league saves. Obviously, Lazio has defensive gaps, a lot of tall and slow defenders, but I feel like the main problem is they lose focus too often.

Most great strikers, Lewa included, miss a lot more chances than they convert. They're great strikers because of the service they get at the end of the day, and if I'm not mistaken Immobile is top scorer in serie a right now.

What the Italian league has that no one else in Europe has right now is the 7 sisters of seire A, 6 of which are ready to play non stop attacking football, Atalanta, Napoli, Roma,ac Milan,inter Milan, Lazio, and Juventus the only exception. I can't get enough of the seven sisters.

Serie A is my second favorite league to watch now after the premier league. I love how they play fast attacking football now & 5/6 top massive clubs. Every game week one or 2 interesting big matches. Spanish league is so boring now. All the big players have left & is super slow tempo. Premier league , serie a and bundesliga have all over taken it.
